Mail Client

To set up your mail client  you will need specific information about your email account. You can use the “Automatic Configuration Scripts” provided in your webmail account to attempt to automatically configure your email application. If the available options are not compatible with your application, you will need to use the Mail Client Manual Settings.

We recommend to use the “IMAP” protocol to connect to the GABA mail server.
With IMAP emails are stored on the server. Messages can be synced and accessed across multiple devices.

(Another protocol option is POP3. But here emails are stored on your local device and can only be accessed from a single device.)

Using “Automatic Configuration Scripts”

Access your webmail account (see above). Under the topic “Other Webmail Features” click the link “Configure Mail Client”. Here you’ll find a listing of available scripts.

Please contact us if you have any questions or problems.

We recommend not to use email forwarders!

The forwarding of emails does not always work reliably. Forwarded emails can be lost or generate error messages for a variety of reasons. In particular, the worldwide volume of spam and the associated problems with spam detection make redirects unreliable.
