This is an exciting opportunity to join our small but growing US team in our recently opened representative office in San Francisco, the firm’s first office in the US. The focus of this role is to build our brand in the US market and win work for the firm. You will work closely with partners, based in the US, and the Senior BD Manager for the US who is based in London. You will provide marketing and business development support to help develop and implement the firm’s US strategy. The role will be the “on the ground” BD person representing the firm and our US offering at client meetings, events and conferences. You will also build and reinforce relationships between the US office and Bird & Bird’s Asia Pacific offices.
 
The ideal candidate will be based in the US with knowledge of the US legal market and approximately 3-7 years of business development experience working in a law firm or other professional services organization.
