At their "Silicon Valley Innovation Hub" in Menlo park, a local team from Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany is exploring the field of bio-sensing for new business opportunities. By identifying valuable technological developments and building meaningful relationships, this team strengthens the innovation field's portfolio. Projects revolve around three essential components: 1) sensors to monitor analyze indicators of disease, health, or performance, 2) digital data analytic platforms that encompass machine learning, data mining, pattern recognition, diagnostic and prognostic insights, and 3) data driven decisions for early detection, targeted therapies, and lifestyle optimizations. Currently, several concepts are under review including wearable sweat sensors for detecting several types of bio-markers and correlating them to various health conditions. Alto International School - Partnership with IB School near Kiel, Germany
Alto International School in Menlo Park and Louisenlund, an IB World School near Kiel, Germany, signed a partnership to develop joint student and teacher programs.
