Applications are now open for the GABA Rising Stars 2018 Startup award! Eligible startups need to be less than 10 years old, and either a German company with subsidiary in the US or US company founded by a German. The award ceremony will take place at the beautiful Thomas Fogarty Winery in Woodside on August 23, 2018. This presents a great opportunity to network with various high-level members of the international business community and meet the finalists of the startup competition.

Hill88 Innovation News: The Robots are Coming
Hill88 is happy to join as a new GABA corporate member and will contribute on a regular basis with an update on innovation trends in the Silicon Valley. One area to watch is robotics. German startup Franka Emika has recently arrived here to bring its "co-bot" robot arm to North America. Local startups range from greppy, which aims to clean your bath room, to Aeolus, which brings Rosie the Robot from "The Jetsons" to reality.
