Watch the First GABA TV Show on December 19th at 8:30 pm
Starting December 19th, 2009, GABA TV will air every Saturday at 8:30 pm at KMTP TV channel 32. GABA TV host Pamela Lenz Sommer produces the show in a newsmagazine style, interviewing guests about the latest topics and trends in a variety of industries, and mixing on location field footage with interviews.
Steve Cooke: Winner at Hollywood Music Awards "Best Song"
Singer, songwriter and long time GABA supporter Steve Cooke won the award for "Best song" for his single, "Working for the USA" at the star studded Hollywood Music and Media Awards (HMMA) on November 19th. The GABA Chapter of Southern California congratulates Steve on his big win! His album "Broken Country" is available in all digital outlets, and he will be playing again Thursday Dec 3 at the Renaissance hotel.
Southern California Chapter Started HR Industry Group
Anita Katzenbach, who also serves as a Board member for the Southern California Chapter of GABA, is the Chair of the recently started Human Resources Industry Group. The idea is to build a similar organization to the successful industry groups which GABA runs in Northern California.
