GABA Increased Membership by 17% in 2008
The GABA membership statistics for 2008 show a growth of 17% over the last year. Currently, the association counts 280 paying members. The Southern California Chapter was especially successful doubling their membership at the end of 2008. The GABA mailing list keeps growing too, and has passed 4,000 subscribers at the beginning of 2009.

New Volunteer at GABA
Manuela Hiller
has joined GABA as a volunteer for the monthly newsletter. Manuela graduated from the University of Leipzig with a Master of Arts, and worked as a project manager in a financial services company focusing on the renewable energy sector. She moved to Palo Alto at the beginning of the year, and is currently looking for a job in the Bay Area.
