focused on balancing their obligations to
their people and their communities and their

The German International School of
Silicon Valley (GISSV) will open
the new
EAST BAY Campus in Berkeley on August 27th.
We will start with a Kindergarten class and
we will continue by adding one grade each
year to build out to a full K through 5. As a
satellite campus, the GISSV East Bay campus,
shares the same bilingual and educational
philosophy, curriculum guidelines and
student-to-teacher ratios as the parent
school in Mountain View. As a true
German-English immersion program, the school
targets students from German and non-German
speaking families and any families interested
in a high-quality bilingual education.
After the summer break GISSV will open the
doors for its students again on August 15th.
Did you know that the GISSV not only offers
Pre-school/Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle,
and High School but also Saturday Language
Classes? There are classes for all age and
skill levels, starting with a Preschool Play
Group at age 3 on every Saturday and a
variety of weekday classes for adults.
Moreover, GISSV offers Corporate Language
Classes for companies like Google and NASA.
These classes are typically held on a
weekday, according to special arrangements.
To learn more about our German Language
Classes you are cordially invited to join us
for an Open House Breakfast on August 25th at
10am.
