The goal is to better connect the German web 2.0 scene as well as improve transatlantic idea exchange between Germany and the US (and - hopefully - help bring some of those good Silicon Valley vibes to Germany).     GABA is looking for a part-time volunteer to help with event preparation and organization, membership and daily business. We are looking for a committed, reliable volunteer who can help on a regular basis for at least 4-6 months. Needs to be customer-oriented, able to work independently and pay attention to detail. Tasks will include preparation, marketing and follow-up of events, being present at the events to help with registration and execution, talking to members and prospects, preparation of the monthly newsletter, and helping with general business items such as correspondence, phone calls etc.
    Approximately 10-15 hours/week, based in Mountain View. Native German speaker preferred.

    On March 28 HEDA - The Heidelberg Economic Development Agency has presented a unique project to interested life science institutions and professionals active in these fields. At the event, Klaus Staab and Dr. Stephanie Combs presented the Heavy-Ion Beam Therapy (HIT) against Cancer facility which is in the final phase of construction and informed about important milestones in the final phase.
