Head of Sales (PCB) USA – San Jose, CA

RESPONSIBILITY

The Head of Sales has the responsibility for

  • Overall sales and business development responsibility for the USA within the group.
  • Business development, growing the business and achieving sales targets in USA
  • Management and coordination of all sales activities including leadership and guidance of the account managers and outside sales-representatives.
  • Implementation of the sales and marketing strategy in line with BU’s and group strategy.
  • High level customer relationship management and contract negotiations.
  • Leading, guiding and motivating direct sales staff in USA.
  • Organizational structure, professional development, motivation, performance evaluation, compensation, personnel policies and procedures.
  • Identifying Business Development activities with new and existing customers.
  • Building customer relationships and identifying new sales opportunities.
  • Management of the budget for Sales-, customer-support and Sales-Reps.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Minimum 10 years selling PCB’s directly to customers in the US market.
  • In depth market and industry knowledge with a track record of success in cultivating contacts with decision makers within both multinational and domestic major OEMs and EMS’s.
  • Skilled in conducting face-to-face presentations to customers, negotiating, closing sales and account management· Experience managing and leading sales teams
  • Experience working for a European headquartered company
  • Experience working in a matrix organization
