Ronald is heading the North American Fuel Cell Operations of Mercedes-Benz. He relocated from MBRDNA’s mother company Daimler AG in January 2013, where he was responsible for managing the Mercedes-Benz fuel cell and battery electric vehicle demonstration projects from 2007-2012. Ronald began his career with Daimler AG in 1996 as a Powertrain Engineer and has since then held various engineering and management positions within the company before moving into the field of powertrain electrification, hydrogen and fuel cell vehicles.
He holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and in addition earned an MBA from the European School of Business at Reutlingen University (ESB).
Ronald lives in Redondo Beach, CA with his wife and their daughter and son.
