The German International School of Silicon Valley (GISSV) will open the new EAST BAY Campus in Berkeley on August 27th. We will start with a Kindergarten class and we will continue by adding one grade each year to build out to a full K through 5. As a satellite campus, the GISSV East Bay campus, shares the same bilingual and educational philosophy, curriculum guidelines and student-to-teacher ratios as the parent school in Mountain View. As a true German-English immersion program, the school targets students from German and non-German speaking families and any families interested in a high-quality bilingual education.

After the summer break GISSV will open the doors for its students again on August 15th. Did you know that the GISSV not only offers Pre-school/Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle, and High School but also Saturday Language Classes? There are classes for all age and skill levels, starting with a Preschool Play Group at age 3 on every Saturday and a variety of weekday classes for adults. Moreover, GISSV offers Corporate Language Classes for companies like Google and NASA. These classes are typically held on a weekday, according to special arrangements.
