    GABA NorCal: Towards Energy Autonomy

    The speakers are Mr. Hermann Scheer and Mr. Michael R. Peevey. Mr. Hermann Scheer is the General Chairman of the World Council for Renewable Energy, President of EUROSOLAR, the European Association for Renewable Energy and a member of the German Bundestag (Parliament). Mr. Michael R. Peevey is the President of the California Public Utilities Commission (PUC). From 1995 until 2000, Mr. Peevey was President of NewEnergy Inc. The Moderator Mr. Fong Wan is Vice President, Energy Procurement for Pacific Gas and Electric Company, and is responsible for gas and electric supply planning and policies, market assessment and quantitative analysis, supply development, procurement and settlement.     The Lieberman Productions is looking for smart, creative freelance German directors/ producers/filmmaker/writers, who are capable of creating a show or spot for the German audience. Need to be able to write German copy that is part advertising, part storytelling. VERY IMPORTANT: it should be culturally adapted to German consumer behaviors, and speak to the German people. We are looking for people with background in documentary filmmaking, who can create entertaining shows in both long format and commercial length, with authentic-sounding dialogue, basic science (why certain skincare product ingredients work better than others), and real human stories, which ultimately creates a sense of need and urgency (why you need to buy this product). Assignments could involve anything from a few hours to multiple days to long-term projects. We represent multiple brands with ongoing projects, and are looking for someone to start immediately. Pay is negotiable.
