    Wednesday, November 8 2006, 6:00pm - 9:00pm
SAP Labs, Building D, 3410 Hillview Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304
Cars are becoming smarter and smarter: Over 30% of the cost of a new car is electronics - the trend is growing. Navigation systems, intelligent saftey systems, wireless communication and a multitude of sensors support today's driver. In addition, the supporting infrastructure around the driver becomes more intelligent - built-in sensors in the road, communication between vehicles themselves and to the road are on the rise. What are the current developments, what can we expect in the future - what are the emerging business challenges and opportunities. Life Science Facilities: Decision Making Criteria For Winning Proposals
    Tuesday, November 14 2006, 6:00am - 9:00pm
Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Nicholson Graham LLP, Four Embarcadero Center, 10th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94111
The need for life science or healthcare facilities in California is on a sharp rise. You are in the position of either evaluating or writing proposals. You want to make an informed decision as fast as possible - either which proposal to choose or if it is worthwhile to submit a proposal. This requires a clearly defined set of decision-making criteria as well as an explicit request for proposals that facilitates a "go - no go" decision for the service provider. This evening event offers an insight in the current processes of decision makers for larger or smaller Life Science Facility projects and the opportunity to discuss threshold criteria for winning proposals. For more information, please visit GABA's website.
