    The IIC (Industrial Investment Council) is proudly announces that it successfully advised solar cell developer and producer First Solar Inc. in their location decision process for its first global large scale production plant. First Solar will soon start producing the next generation of solar cells in Frankfurt (Oder) in Brandenburg. The collective investment is approximately EUR 115 million. When the plant is completed, it will possess the nominal capacity of 100 MW and will employ over 400 workers. The IIC assisted First Solar throughout the entire project period by providing project counsel and management services.
